Advanced Sustainable Energy Laboratory

Thank you for visiting Advanced Sustainable Energy Laboratory (ASEL) at Pusan National University.

The purpose of engineering is to improve the Quality of Life. The task of the engineer is to identify, understand, and interpret the constraints on a design in order to yield a successful result. Whereas the goal of Electrical engineer is to design, develop, test and supervise the manufacture of electrical equipment, and to generate green energy.

To realize this goal, we have been actively involved with both fundamental and application research in Solar, Photocatalytic, Super capacitor, Electro chemical water splitting, Thin films etc. Our active research resulted in more than 150 international journal articles.

A total of 5 PhD and 10 Master students have graduated, and almost all of them are actively pursuing their careers in related fields, as professors, engineers, researchers, entrepreneurs in Korea and other countries. Currently, 8 PhD and 1 Master student are researching in various areas, such as Bi-metallic electro catalyst, Perovskite solar cells, and High density super capacitors.

We will continue to move forward with renewed energy and dedication to advancing the science of engineering and its practical application to make eco-friendly world.
